Creating Links on Your Pages

Most pages in your website will have a "Rich Text Editor" for adding your free-form pages content. It is very easy to add links to your content.
  1. First log-in to the CMS and click on the page you want to edit.
  2. Click on the "Content" tab to see the "Rich Text Editor" ("RTE" for short).
  3. Type your text into the box. Using your mouse, highlight the text you want to be clickable (1) then click the "Insert Link" button on the toolbar (2):
  4. When the "Insert Link" box pops up, either type the URL of the page you want to link to (for an external site)(1) or click on the page in your site you want to link to (2). Optionally, you can type a Title for the link (3) and select the "Target" - which determines how the link behaves. As a general rule, I recommend that you select "Open in this window/frame" for internal links (to pages on your own site) and select "Open in new window (_blank)" for links to outside pages(4). When you are finished, click the "Insert" button(5):
  5. Now you will see your text as a link. Click "Save & Publish" to make your changes live.
